Cancer, I am really, really mad at you...

My husband, Keith, has lung cancer which has spread.  We have known this for several months.  It has been growing lately, and sprouting new growths.  He is getting excellent care and treatment, but this stupid cancer doesn't seem to understand that God is more powerful than it is.
I am praying for God's will to be done in our family and for Keith to be healed.
Sometimes, when there are just no words, it helps to recite the Apostles' Creed:
"I believe in God,

the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen"

So, cancer, think you are so big now?    I am powerless over many things, but I know the One who is all powerful.
