This and That

The first three pictures are of two little girls who decided to run away from home one day because their parents make them do things they don't want to do. Much to their dismay, a surprise spring rain shower impeded their progress and they had to turn back for home. Eventually, they decided that home is not such a bad place after all.

The last picture is a family with four generations gathering on Mother's Day: my grandmother, mother, older sister, niece, and my girls.

A New Tricycle

Learning to ride a new tricycle takes concentration!
A homemade birthday cake and a happy third birthday.

Our Zoo Day

The girls are growing so fast; it is such fun to see things again from their perspective.
This part of the zoo didn't hold their interest for long; not enough action going on. The vending machines near this point were a big attraction!
While I am trying to broaden the girls' horizons with a zoo experience, their dad is trying to keep them humble, I guess.
Ma and Pa Kettle get to see the sights.
The girls loved this petting zoo portion; these animals are amazingly gentle and trained.
We enjoyed visiting the zoo with the girls. It was a nice day for outdoor family time; a little cool in the morning but getting much better around noon.
