Bee Sting....Ouch!

Maggie was stung by a bee on the playground yesterday (again).   We have decided she must be allergic to bee stings, because they always swell.  This time, it flew up and stung her on the forehead.
Ouch.

Twin Day

Today was twin day at school, part of the Homecoming Week celebration.  Maggie and her best friend were twins for the day!

A Texas Style, Teenager Friendly, Sunday Cookout

Sadie and 5 friends had a blast yesterday afternoon;  we quickly put together a cookout for them at home.   They played volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, cards, & dominoes.   We want to repeat it soon; so much better than a movie.

We've been adopted...by a bat!

  Imagine my surprise at finding this bat in a swimsuit I was attempting to bring in from the clothesline!   I have given him this garment permanently, and it will stay on the clothesline now.  The newest addition  is a wren I have seen in the swimsuit.   They actually cozy up in there together.   I know it sounds impossible, but it's true....
