Sadie had some professional headshots taken at theatre camp this last 2 weeks.
She has had a great time there.
We are glad she is home!
I am a Methodist, a mother, and a public school teacher, learning to live in the new role of widow. God has truly sustained me and my family. I like to share about daily family life.

Easter Lillies in memory of Keith
These Easter lilies were given to us last year in memory of Keith. I planted them after they finished blooming last year, really not expecting much success. I don't see many blooming Easter lilies here in Texas.
Anyway, they have been blooming so beautifully the last week or so. At last count, 10 blooms were open and stunning, with several more unopened buds.
We miss Keith as much today as ever, if not more. It is so frustrating to want to talk with him about everything and anything, and not be able to have those wonderful, hours long conversations we used to have.
It's all part of this roller-coaster ride called grief, for which I never wanted a ticket.
