Wasps in the Summer...a Texas tradition

Maggie had the unfortunate experience of being stung by a wasp on the lip this summer.  It was an attack by a swarm of wasps, and she also was stung on the thigh.  The swelling lingered for about a week.

Sadie's High school parking space, and other random stuff

Sadie got to paint her own parking space for her senior year of high school.  She did a great job, and had a request to help another student with theirs.

How to Upcycle a Prom Dress

The most fun I have had sewing recently:  I upcycled Sadie's prom dress from last year, to be worn by Maggie in February to a special dance.  I started working on it about 3 hours before the dance, so I did not have much time to spare, but all turned out well.  Maggie really loves it, and hopes to wear it again.

The Elsa Dress from Frozen

This past Halloween, Maggie wanted to be Elsa from Frozen.  So, I found the pattern and fabric at the fabric store, and started to work.  It was fun to create, and she was so thrilled with the results.
